's Notes
Snow
Snow is a fantastic thing. I live in Texas and always look forward to the few cold days when I can snuggle up with a book by the fireplace and look out through the window at some beautiful, white snow.
Songs
Songs are a very important part of my life. There are songs for me to sing, regardless of what I am feeling or doing, and whether they are in my head or out loud. "What would life be? Without a song or a dance what are we?" ~ Abba, "Thank You For The Music"
Inspiration
Inspiration is a necessity for creativity. The smallest thing can inspire, and in turn that inspiration can lead to a masterpiece. It is a way of life.
Friendly
Life can be so much more enjoyable and fun when the people around us are friendly, and when we are friendly ourselves. It's amazing the difference that a smile and friendly words can make.
Sunnily
Sunny days are some of the best. . . as long as it isn't already to hot outside, as it too often is in Texas. Feeling the warmth of the sun of your skin, especially after a long winter or especially drab rainy period, can be a wonderful experience.
Beautiful
There are so many beautiful things in this world, things that are full of beauty. Colors, flowers, animals, paintings, songs, all of them can be beautiful. People can also be beautiful, as well as what people wear, create, love, take care of, imagine, etc.
Treasure
There can be a great variety of things that are considered treasure. Anything really important to you or someone else can be called a treasure. People always seem to be looking for treasures, and one of the great plots in literature is going on a treasure hunt.
Lovely
This is a simple, and perhaps overused word. A lovely object is generally something you love to look at, usually because of its beauty. From flowers to people to colors, so many things can be, and are, lovely.
Intriguing
When something is intriguing, it is fascinating, curious, and interesting. I tend to always think of 'intrigue' and 'intriguing' as in relation to a mystery or detective story. It's a kind of puzzle for one to want to solve.
Blizzard
When snow fills the air and covers the ground with a blanket that is very difficult to walk through, it can be spectacularly beautiful, and also incredibly dangerous.
Keller
Keller, Texas, is a great city. I was born there, and spent the first nineteen years of my life there. Keller is in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and is still continuing to grow quickly.
Lubbock
Lubbock, Texas The birthplace of Buddy Holly, the hub of West Texas, and the home of Texas Tech University. It may be in the middle of West Texas, but it has a surprisingly large amount of culture and activities.
Clarity
Clarity can be a difficult thing to achieve, but being clear and concise, whether in writing, speaking, or actions, can be very important. Clarity makes it easier for people to understand each other, and generally makes projects take less time and be more effective.
Splendiforous
This is a wonderful word, that can be used whenever something is particularly impressive or awe-inspiring. Or, you could use this word, in the place of supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, if you happen to be in that mood.
Joyful
I think being full of joy is very important. It helps you get through the rough times of life and also lets you take pleasure in the beautiful things in life.
Lyrical
Doesn't this word sound beautiful in itself? I love lyrical poetry, and the way words themselves can roll off the tongue and create a sense of beauty and harmony, just through their rhythm and meter.
Knitting
It is amazing what one can create by tying knots with sticks. Knitting is a craft, and can also be an art form. It is stress relieving, practical, and beautiful.
Writer
Writing is my passion, and so I am a writer. It may not be necessarily a wise or concrete activity, but it is part of my identity.
Poetry
Poetry can be beautiful, depressing, harsh, shocking, or just plain confusing. It is a versatile art form that has to do with language and words, and the rhythm of speaking and reading. It is a way of translating emotions, thoughts, images, and ideas into words, so that those words and phrasing can then be translated back into emotions, thoughts, images, and ideas by the reader.
Whovian
I am a Whovian. I love Doctor Who. Yes, I am even a bit obsessed with Doctor Who. I have watched through the episodes many times (although I'm still slowly going through the old ones), own the clothes, decorations, posters, stickers, buttons, and various other memorabilia. It is part of my life.
Allonsy
Yes, I am a Whovian, and yes, that is where I learned this French word. It flows so easily, and is a unique word to add to my vocabulary.
Chocolate
I love chocolate, you love chocolate, we all love chocolate. It can be eaten and used in so many ways. It is delicious, smooth, perfect for mixing with a crazy amount of ingredients, and is great for those days when you want to celebrate and when you need to cry your heart out.
Fantastic
As a person involved with many fandoms, I like this word. Not only is it a fantastic, wonderful word, but it designates something as worthy of having fans.
Redeemable
Redeemable is a beautiful word. It means that something or someone can be bought back, rescued back, even though it may seem impossible or not a good idea. It is possible to be redeemed.
Creativity
Creativity is extremely important for a writer and lover of art. Without creativity, new things would not be as new or unique. It is difficult to grasp sometimes, but very worth it.
Forever
Forever is a long time, whatever it is used to refer to. People and things are not able to last forever, but the idea of foreverness is still an important one.
Purple
I have an obsession with purple. If there is an option to have something in purple, then it is very likely that I already own that purple version. I'm not sure how or why it started, but purple is now a rather large part of my identity.
Texas
Texas is my home. I was born here, raised here, and chose to live here. I may not like it's heat and strange weather patterns, but it is a wonderful state, and I don't want to leave.
